ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Alberta Media Arts Alliance Society’s Annual General Meeting for 2026 will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 6:30PM. Register to receive a Zoom invite to attend virtually.
Our president, Jamie McRae and Executive Director, Vicki Van Chau will be presenting reports for the year, as well as hear updates from Membership & Projects Coordinator, Sophia Lengle and Edmonton Community Coordinator, Shawn Tse. Board Treasurer Sharon Kahanoff will be presenting the Financial Statements for the 2025/2026 fiscal year ending March 31, 2026.
We will also be electing new board members for a 3-year term and are particularly interested in members living outside of Edmonton and Calgary. If you’re interested in running to be on the AMAAS Board of Directors, send a letter of intention to board@amaas.ca by June 22 for consideration.

DEFINITION OF MEDIA ART
AMAAS defines media art as independent artist initiated and controlled use of film, video, new media, audio/sound art and related media.
