ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Alberta Media Arts Alliance Society’s Annual General Meeting for 2025 will be held during our conference at the Red Deer Polytechnic on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11:15AM. If you are unable to attend in-person, you can register to attend virtually via Zoom at the link below.
Our outgoing president, Katie Fournell and Executive Director, Vicki Van Chau will be presenting reports for the year and Board Treasurer Sharon Kahanoff will be presenting the Financial Statements for the 2024/2025 fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.
An agenda and financial statements will be available to view prior to the meeting.
We will also be electing new board members for a 3-year term and are particularly interested in members living outside of Edmonton and Calgary. If you’re interested in running to be on the AMAAS Board of Directors, send a letter of intention to board@amaas.ca by June 26 for consideration.

DEFINITION OF MEDIA ART
AMAAS defines media art as independent artist initiated and controlled use of film, video, new media, audio/sound art and related media.
